Refund Policy

Version française

In effect from November 4, 2026.

This page covers two different things, and keeps them apart on purpose:

1. Whether we will refund you. That is a commercial decision, set out under When we grant a refund.

2. What happens to your Premium access once a payment has been refunded or disputed. That follows automatic rules, described under What changes when a payment is refunded and the sections after it.

These rules apply to Premium payments made on ExcelDrills.com and form part of the Terms of Service.

How to ask for a refund or help with a charge

support@exceldrills.com from the address on your ExcelDrills account. Tell us which plan you bought and roughly when, and what went wrong. We review each request and reply by email.

Because Stripe is the seller of record for the payment, you can also ask for help with a charge from Link, whose receipt and support details come with your purchase. We and Stripe each handle refund requests, and a refund by either has the effect on your Premium access described below.

If you are refunded, the money goes back to the payment method you used, through Stripe. How soon it appears depends on your bank or card issuer and can take several business days.

A refund includes the tax that was charged on the payment. A refund of the full amount you paid, tax included, is a full refund; a refund of less than that is a partial refund.

Please contact us before you open a payment dispute with your bank or card issuer; it is usually quicker to sort out with us. If you do open one, see Payment disputes below.

When we grant a refund

Refund requests are reviewed case by case, subject to applicable mandatory consumer rights.

A request you make to Link is decided under Link's own refund policy for purchases sold through Link. Where that policy gives you more than this one, Link's policy applies to your request, and nothing in this policy reduces it.

In some cases Stripe, as the seller of record, may refund a payment itself, for example to prevent a payment dispute, and it may do so without asking us first. A refund made by Stripe has the same effect on your Premium access as one made by us.

This policy does not limit any right you have under the law that applies to you, including any right to withdraw from a purchase or to a cooling-off period.

What changes when a payment is refunded

These rules are applied automatically from Stripe's records, usually within seconds, occasionally a little longer.

Monthly and Annual: if the payment for your current billing period is fully refunded, Premium access ends and your subscription is cancelled, so you are not charged again and there are no further renewals. Several partial refunds of the same payment that add up to its full amount count as a full refund.

Lifetime: if the Lifetime payment is fully refunded, Premium access ends.

Your account, your sign-in and your progress stay. A refund does not delete anything.

Partial refunds

If a payment is refunded only in part, your Premium access continues unchanged. A partial refund does not cancel a subscription: it keeps renewing unless you cancel it (see Cancelling in the Terms of Service).

Renewals and earlier payments

Every renewal is a separate payment for one billing period. A full refund of the latest payment ends Premium and cancels the subscription, as above.

A refund or dispute about an earlier payment does not take away access for a later period you have paid for. Cancelling a plan, on its own, does not refund anything: you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.

Payment disputes (chargebacks)

If you or your bank dispute a Premium payment, Stripe, as the seller of record, handles the dispute with your bank, and may ask us for information about your account and how you used the service. Your Premium access follows the stage of the dispute:

  • While a dispute is open, Premium access is paused. Your subscription is not cancelled while the dispute is decided.
  • If the dispute is decided in our favour, Premium access is restored as long as the plan is still valid.
  • If the dispute is lost, Premium access ends and, for a Monthly or Annual plan, the subscription is cancelled.

Lifetime purchases

A Lifetime purchase is independent of any subscription. Refunding or disputing a subscription payment never affects Lifetime access, and a Lifetime refund or dispute never affects a subscription.

Buying again

After a refund you can buy Premium again at any time. A new, successful purchase restores Premium access.

Account deletion and ended accounts

Deleting your account ends Premium, including Lifetime, and does not by itself entitle you to a refund. If we end your account, see the Terms of Service; whether a payment is refunded in that case is part of When we grant a refund above.
